Meals on Wheels works to combat food insecurity and provide nutritious food for those in need.
This week, Brandi Sasore, the communications manager for Partners in Nutrition/Meals on Wheels, stopped by to talk about what her organization does to fight food insecurity.
Meals on Wheels of Central Indiana, for nearly 50 years, has provided medically tailored meals to chronically ill and homebound Hoosiers.
According to Sasore, once an application is received, they are usually able to get a meal out to that individual in 24-48 hours.
