Gr8 Paper Push helps support teachers in need of school supplies

The Gr8 paper push is going virtual! This morning, Margaret Sheehan, executive director of Teachers’ Treasures joined us on Indy Style to explain what’s different for teacher’s this year and why supporting this event is so important.

Each year, teachers spend an average of $500 to $1,000 of their own money on school supplies to support students who attend classes without the needed materials. During the Coronavirus pandemic, the need for school supplies has never been greater.

For the sixth year, WISH-TV is teaming up with Teachers’ Treasures, a free store for teachers, for the Gr8 Paper Push on August 5.
