All clear at Wabash College after lockdown related to Zionsville investigation
CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – The all clear has been given at Wabash College after they were on lockdown Wednesday afternoon.
Campus was on lockdown for most of the afternoon Wednesday. At this time, all academic buildings have been cleared.
Officials with the college say that classes were canceled for the rest of the day. The reason for the lockdown wasn’t released.
According to 24-Hour News 8’s partners at WLFI-TV there are multiple reports of law enforcement searching for a possible person of interest heading toward Tippecanoe County driving a Wabash College vehicle.
A release was sent out to students, faculty and staff members. they were asked to remain indoors and shelter in place.
Sources tell 24-Hour News 8 that the lock down at Wabash College is related the double homicide in Zionsville.
