Ball State acting provost dies
MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) — Ball State University officials announced the death of acting provost Dr. Robert Morris on Monday.
Morris had been hospitalized a month ago due to an infection, the Ball State Daily News reports.
University interim president Terry King issued the following statement:
It is with deepest sorrow that I announce the passing of Dr. Robert Morris, acting provost and executive vice president for Academic Affairs. I received word that Bob passed away early this morning. We will share information on services as soon as arrangements are made. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family and close friends.
