Cool day with a few spotty showers

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A few morning showers will pass in and out with most locations starting in the mid to upper 50s. Showers will be fairly isolated in nature during the day today with highs only warming to the lower 60s. Most locations will be running a good 20° below the average highs of 82°. Winds will also pick up as a cold front departs kicking wind up to 20-30 mph.

Thursday night will be a chilly one with lows falling to the upper 40s and lower 50s. 

Friday is looking like a fantastic day with highs in the mid-70s with lots of sunshine! 

Scattered showers and storms will develop during the day with highs warming to the upper 70s and lower 80s. Some storms during the afternoon could turn strong or severe. Showers and storms will continue through Father’s Day with some potentially heavy rain at times. 

Rain and storms will stick around for a good bulk of the work week with temperatures still a bit below the seasonal high. Temperatures through the week will warm to the upper 70s and lower 80s.
