MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) — A woman who sold a fatal heroin/fentanyl mix to a man who overdosed and died is headed to prison.

The Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office says Rachelle Tucker received a five-year sentence following the death of Dustin Rhodes.

Rhodes, 29 at his time of death, overdosed in Muncie in 2017.

Tucker was accused of selling the fatal dose to Rhodes and pleaded guilty to dealing in a narcotic drug in December.

Investigators said she didn’t do anything to help Rhodes.

“She took no action to obtain medical help, instead insisting a co-defendant in the case take him off of her property,” said Judge Thomas Cannon.
