DA: Teen broke into ex-girlfriend’s house before killing her, shooting her mother

KENOSHA, Wis. (WISH) — A teenager broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home before killing her and shooting her mother, according to the district attorney.

15-year-old Martice Fuller is being charged as an adult in the case, according to WITI.

Fuller is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend, 15-year-old Kaylie Juga, last week. He’s also accused of shooting her mother, Stephanie Juga.

Prosecutors say he killed Kaylie while she was in her room listening to music.

‘This is a death and attempted murder, per the allegations, on a quiet street in the middle of the day at this family`s own home,” said Mike Graveley, Kenosha County district attorney. “The circumstances in this case would literally chill anyone who makes any real attempt to keep their family safe.”

After hearing her daughter get shot, Stephanie says she came face-to-face with Fuller and said, “You don’t have to do this.”

“Yes, I have to,” he said, according to Stephanie.

She was then shot multiple times. She called 911 after locking herself in a bathroom.

Fuller’s attorney says there is no evidence linking him to the crime and that he hasn’t been in trouble before.

His bond has been set at $1 million. He is due back in court on May 24.
