Greenwood man arrested, charged with molesting 6-year-old boy

GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) — A local healthcare services executive has been arrested and charged with molesting a 6-year-old boy.

William Brenner, 49, of Greenwood fondled and masturbated in front of the boy multiple times between Dec. 2014 and March 2015, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Brenner worked as chief financial officer at Kindred Healthcare and reportedly lived with the boy from Oct. 2014 to March 2016.

The court documents state Brenner and the child slept naked together and the unidentified boy told investigators Brenner touched his “private parts” and did “gross things.”

Brenner confirmed to investigators that he had molested the 6-year-old and taken nude photos of the boy, the documents state.

When asked if he was scared while living with Brenner, the boy told investigators he was because he “didn’t want to do all that stuff,” the documents state. Brenner said he told the boy not to tell anyone about the sexual acts, according to court documents.

Brenner was taken into custody at his Greenwood home on July 6. He faces four counts of child molesting.
