HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Hamilton Southeastern Schools have announced changes due to the pandemic.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 16, students in grades seven to 12 will go to virtual learning.

The district says the change will last until the start of winter break.

Students in pre-K through fifth grade will not change their schedules. Those grades are either fully in person or on a hybrid learning plan.

The district’s changes come as Fishers Health Department moves the community risk rate to red.

The district says more changes could come as city health officials will consider more restrictions Friday.
