INDIANAPOLIS – The city of Miami on Monday night is hosting the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship Game and then it becomes central Indiana’s turn.

The Miami Host Committee will Tuesday host a virtual “hand off” of the event to the Indy CFP Host Committee.

The Indy committee will also make several “one-year-out” announcements for the 2022 game, which will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Committee Board Chair Mark Howell and President Susan Baughman will be on hand at Lucas Oil Stadium for the virtual event, along with Indy Championships Fund President David Lewis.

Inside INdiana Business will have more on the event and announcements in Tuesday afternoon’s INside Edge e-newsletter.

Nearly a year ago, Baughman appeared on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick to talk about the committee’s trip to New Orleans where that year’s CFP game was held. You can view the full interview by clicking here.
