IMPD asking for help finding suspect near Butler campus

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Butler University Police Department reported that a suspect that fled on foot after an attempted robbery near campus on Tuesday.

Butler PD released the following information on the suspect:

• Black male
• Late teens to early 20’s
• 5 feet, 8 inches tall
• Approximately 150 pounds
• Short hair
• Dark pants and shirt
• White bandanna with black pattern, covering his face

BPD responded to the initial call. Now IMPD is handling the investigation.

They are asking the public to call IMPD if they have any information at 317-262-TIPS.
