IMPD searches for suspects near Butler University
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was searching for suspects after a vehicle pursuit on Saturday night near the Butler University campus.
Police say the vehicle pursuit started when a vehicle refused to stop. Police then forced the vehicle to stop near Boulevard Place, which is where the suspects took off on foot.
University officials warned students on Twitter and told them to avoid the south portion of campus as police searched for two possible suspects.
The descriptions of the suspects were not immediately known. IMPD released the perimeter just after 10 p.m. Police say the suspects were still at large, but ran south of the university.
