US Senate incumbent Joe Donnelly chats with Scott Sander

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — In the second of two interviews with the U.S. Senate candidates in Indiana’s Nov. 6 election, News 8’s Scott Sanders talks with Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly.

Here are segments with Donnelly that aired Thursday night on WISH-TV.

Segments with Mike Braun, the Republican in the race, aired on Wednesday and can be found here

In the first segment, Donnelly is asked why he wants to keep his Senate job and how long he would like to represent Indiana in the U.S. Senate.

In the following segment, Donnelly is asked to respond to an attack ad about issues including tax cuts, the national deficit, the future of health care and his vote against Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.

In the next segment, Donnelly is asked about his use of the phrase “radical left” in an ad, his relationship with President Donald Trump, the impact of an election year on his work for Indiana and his view on tariffs.

In the final segment, Sander and Donnelly have some fun. Donnelly shares his favorite Indiana food, tells in what area he disagrees with his party and names Republicans he respects.
