American Sealants expanding in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — American Sealants has announced plans to invest nearly $3 million into its Fort Wayne facility and add nearly 30 jobs by end of 2024. The company makes package adhesives and sealants for several markets, including construction, manufacturing and automotive aftermarket.

Zaremba says the company will remain in its current location and will expand the building and parking lot by 25,000 square-feet. American Sealants says the new space will allow for more warehouse and manufacturing space, more employees and a state-of-the-art lab to fuel growth in its environmentally friendly adhesive and sealant product lines.

Vice President Andrew Zaremba says the nearly 35-year-old company is excited to grow in Fort Wayne.

“Most of our employees have roots here which is very important to us and at the same time Fort Wayne is a great place for new employees outside the area to call home,” said Zaremba.

Zaremba says construction is already underway, with plans to begin using the new space by October 1. The company currently employs 75 associates and plans to hire additional maintenance technicians, compounders machine operators, material handlers and packagers.
