Anderson University signs transfer agreement with VU

ANDERSON, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Engineering students at Vincennes University will be more easily able to transfer credits to Anderson University (AU) following a new transfer articulation agreement signed by the schools. The agreement allows VU students who complete an associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and computer engineering to enroll at AU to finish a bachelor of science degree in two years.

“We think we may be an excellent fit for some of these transfer students, as our top priorities are providing high-impact, hands-on experiences and developing relationships and community with our students,” said Ben McPheron, chair of AU’s physical sciences and engineering.

Anderson University Dean of the School of Science and Engineering Chad Wallace says Vincennes has similar agreements with other schools, but most are larger than AU.

“I think the Anderson University engineering program, with our small class sizes and focus on mentoring relationships, will be a perfect fit for students graduating with a Vincennes engineering associate degree to continue their engineering education,” said Wallace.
