Lafayette Police Department arrests man, woman in overnight Village Pantry robbery
LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette police arrested a man and a woman in connection to an overnight armed robbery at the Village Pantry on South Fourth Street in Lafayette.
Just after midnight Wednesday, a clerk at the VP reported being robbed at gunpoint by a man and a woman.
Police set up a perimeter and found the suspects nearby within 15 minutes.
22-year-old Bradley Harris and 25-year-old Elizabeth Battle were arrested on preliminary charges of armed robbery. Harris faces an additional charge of resisting law enforcement.
No one was hurt during the incident.
