Beautiful weekend, active week ahead

Saturday morning forecast

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Quiet and milder weather is on tap for the weekend. We’re keeping an eye on two storm systems moving this week for the work week.

Saturday:

Despite another chilly start, temperatures will rebound nicely through the afternoon. You can expect abundant sunshine with highs in the middle 40s this afternoon.

Saturday Night:

Conditions will be clear, quiet and not as chilly. Lows will fall to the lower to middle 30s.

Sunday:

It will be a sunny start to the day, with gradually increasing clouds through the afternoon and evening. Mild temperatures should top out in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

8-Day Forecast:

An active weather pattern will open up for the first half of the week. We can expect widespread showers to overtake the state for much of the day Wednesday. On the back end of this first wave, isolated to scattered showers are expected for Tuesday. Another wave will push through on Wednesday, bringing rain showers, with a changeover to snow showers late Wednesday. Colder temperatures will follow for the end of the extended forecast.
