Annual Woofstock 5K to raise money for Humane Society for Hamilton County
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – People and pets are set to take steps to help with a budget shortage at the Humane Society for Hamilton County.
The shelter is holding its annual Woofstock 5K Saturday at Four Day Ray Brewing in Fishers.
Megan Bousley with the Humane Society for Hamilton County Stopped by Daybreak Friday.
She discussed how the pandemic had changed the event and the kind of precautions that are being taken as a result.
The event goes from 6 a.m. until 1 p.m. and runner/walkers can take part in the 5K in-person or virtually.
