Chefs compete in Girl Scout Cookie Cook-Off
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Chefs from across central Indiana competed in the 7th annual Girl Scout Cookie Cook-Off at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Wednesday.
Seven chefs from across the state were tasked with making savory dishes using Girl Scout cookies as the main ingredient.
Dishes included bacon candied with cookies, turkey burgers with thin mint and lemon cookie fettuccine alfredo.
Participating chefs include:
- Christopher Albano – Levy at Bankers Life Fieldhouse
- Latoya Clark – The Alexander
- Kathy Jones – Second Helpings
- Matt Kovacinski – The Weber Grill
- Steve Oakley – Oakley’s Bistro
- Lauren Reed – The Farm at Prophetstown
The winners were as follows:
- Third place – Lauren Reed
- Second place – Christopher Albano
- Winner – Steve Oakley
The event is ahead of National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend 2020, a weekend dedicated to honoring the program and celebrating Girl Scouts across the country.
