Coronavirus: Takeout, shoes and hand towels

Can the coronavirus live on food, clothes?

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Health experts are warning to take precautions with takeout orders, shoes and hand towels.  

On Friday WISH-TV’s medical reporter, Dr. Mary Gillis, D. Ed., was on Midday to discuss the latest on how to protect yourself from infection by these surfaces. 

Gillis talked about what to do with takeout food and containers, the length of time the coronavirus can live on shoes and the dangers of hand towels as it relates to cross contamination.
