Making kolaches on Daybreak
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – You may not know their names but you may have enjoyed a kolache.
They are sweet pastries that hold fruit surrounded by puffy dough.
Lan Haywood, from the Kolache Factory in Carmel, was on Daybreak Friday.
He explained exactly what a kolache is, the many different items that they can be filled with and also demonstrated how the delicious treats are made.
