Program to provide military members, first responders Halloween candy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Halloween is just a few weeks away. While getting dressed up for Halloween is fun and a chance to show off some creativity, getting plenty of candy is always the goal of Oct. 31.

However, obtaining large amounts of candy is usually never a difficult task. Most people would likely agree that the amount of candy they take in could be described as excessive.

Well, instead of chowing down on that excess amount of chocolate and sugar, one program, Operation Gratitude, will give you the opportunity to donate that extra candy to members of the military and first responders.
