Soggy and cool start to the work week
Grab the umbrella as you’re heading out the door this morning. Scattered light showers will be around for most of the morning commute. Temperatures will stay mild starting off in the mid 60s. It’ll be another cool day with highs topping out in the middle 70s for today with showers and storms. There is a Marginal Risk for strong to severe storms in SE Indiana this afternoon and evening with the main threats being damaging winds and larger hail. Showers will stick around for the remainder of the evening and overnight.
Tuesday much of the same with showers to start off the day and will be around throughout much of the afternoon with no severe weather expected. Highs still on the cooler side only topping out in the mid 70s once again. Showers and storms still linger in the forecast by mid week with highs warming to the upper 70s. After the rain finally moves out we could accumulate 0.50″-1.00″ of much needed rain.
Thursday will be our first dry day of the week with highs above normal! Mainly sunny skies throughout the afternoon with highs in the upper 80s! Summer like heat will stick around for the remainder of the work week and weekend with shower and storms chance creeping back in by Sunday!
