Tracking storms to end workweek

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Mild conditions will stick around Wednesday before we track out the next chance of severe weather in our area. 

Tuesday night:

Overnight temperatures will remain mild with lows in the 50s. Cloud coverage will increase with breezy conditions lingering into daybreak Wednesday. 

Wednesday:

It’ll be a breezy start in the morning, but temperatures will remain warm. Skies will become mostly cloudy with highs in the 70s. A chance for some isolated light showers will linger later in the day. Expects lows in the upper 50s.

Thursday:

A marginal risk for severe weather has been issued for portions of west central and southwest Indiana. Showers and thunderstorms will be anticipated throughout the day. Some of these storms may become severe, with the biggest threats being strong wind gusts and heavy downpours. 

Temperatures will sit in the 60s, but cooler air will come into the picture after this disturbance passes.

8-day Forecast:

Wet weather and cooling temperatures will welcome us into the weekend. Thursday holds the potential for some severe weather. Easter Sunday rebounds back into the 70s with increasing sunshine.
