Traffic stop leads to DUI arrest

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – One person was arrested in Bartholomew County for DUI following a traffic stop.

According to the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, an officer noticed a blue Honda accord traveling south on State Road 11 in Bartholomew County with an expired license plate.

The vehicle, being driven by 41-year-old Hollie Martinez, was pulled over just after 3 a.m. Saturday.

After being pulled over, police say Martinez appeared to be under the influence.  She faces a preliminary charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

She was then transported to the Bartholomew County Jail and is being held on a $2,500.
