INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) –The winter weather advisory will remain in effect through 1 AM Thursday. 

Wednesday night: 

Use caution on the roads tonight as roads are slick and snow covered in spots. Snow showers will diminish this evening and much colder air will sink into the state overnight.

Thursday: 

It will be very cold Thursday morning with temperatures in the low 20s and wind chills in the single digits. Skies will become partly sunny as high temperatures remain below freezing.

Thursday night: 

Thursday night will be the coldest night of the workweek. Scattered snow flurries will develop late.

Friday: 

Clouds will increase throughout the day Friday expect very cold conditions Friday afternoon. Snow flurries will fly at times with little to no snow accumulation.

8 Day forecast:  

Saturday will be chilly under mostly sunny skies. The gradual warming trend continues Saturday afternoon with highs in the mid 30s. Sunday will be the best weather day of the week as temperatures warm to the low to mid 40s. Precipitation returns to the forecast overnight into Monday.
