David’s pleasantly cool weather rolls on

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It is rare that I would make this recommendation the last night in July….But if you are headed out this evening or tonight, you might want to grab a jacket. It will be comfortably cool in the 60s. Afternoon showers in southern Indiana end during the early evening. Temperature drops to about 60 early Sunday morning.
Tonight – Becoming partly cloudy, day and cool. Low 60.
Sunday – Mostly sunny, dry and warmer but not to humid. High 79
Monday – Still very pleasant. Mostly sunny. High 79
Tuesday – Another nice day with cool weather in the morning and pleasant temperatures in the upper 70s in the afternoon.
8 Day Outlook – Very little change in the weather pattern. And that is a good thing because our weather stays dry and pleasant especially considering this is the first week of August. Lows in the low 60s and highs about 80.

Hope you got a chance to get out and enjoy the pleasantly cool weather like boaters on Morse Reservoir.

While it was dry north of Indy, south of Indy there was some light rain this afternoon.

The rain moves southeast quickly by later afternoon.

Dry weather this evening and a little cool. You do not usually need a jacket at the Indiana State Fair, but tonight might be the exception.

By Sunday morning, the temperatures will be 5 or 6 degrees below average for the first day of August.

Then with more sunshine Sunday, the temperatures will be a little warmer. but still far from any August heat and humidity.

Most of the week looks dry and comfortable before some warmer and more humid weather moves in next weekend.
