Soggy start to the week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Scattered showers for the Monday morning drive with pockets of some heavy rain at times! Temperatures will start in the upper 50s. We managed to accumulate just over 2″ of rain over the past 24 hours. A few light sprinkles are possible through the rest of the afternoon. Highs will top out in the upper 60s. Heavy rain will move right back in later Monday night with lows in the mid-50s.

A Flash Flood Watch will be in effect until Tuesday afternoon for our eastern counties. Heavy rain will continue overnight and early Tuesday morning. Scattered showers will continue through the day Tuesday with an additional 2-3″ of rain. Highs will top out in the upper 60s.

Wednesday there will be a chance of showers with highs still in the upper 60s. We finally get the steady shower activity to move out with highs warming to the lower 70s with a spotty shower possible.

By the end of the week, highs will warm to the mid-70s with a mostly cloudy sky. Great looking Memorial Day weekend with highs in the lower 80s with shower chances arriving Monday!
