90s are back this week
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–We may see an isolated shower tonight and early Monday morning. High heat and humidity return this week.
TONIGHT: There’s an isolated shower possible during the night. It will be mild and muggy with lows falling into the upper 60s.
MONDAY: An early morning isolated shower may pop up across parts of the state. Look for sunshine during the afternoon with highs climbing into the upper 80s near 90. It will not only be hot but very humid too.
MONDAY NIGHT: Skies clear but it will stay mild and very muggy. Lows fall around 70.
TUESDAY: The heat is on! Look for lots of sunshine and dry time on Tuesday. It’s going to be hot and very humid with highs near 92. Heat indices will be in the middle to upper 90s.
TROPICAL UPDATE: Marco is now a category 1 hurricane with winds near 75 mph. It is heading into the Gulf of Mexico and may make landfall in Louisiana. Laura is still a tropical storm but is expected to strengthen into a hurricane and head into the Gulf of Mexico as well.
8DAY FORECAST: The heat and humidity sticks around for the rest of the week. Look for lots of sunshine and highs in the lower 90s on Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible Thursday and Friday with highs staying in the upper 80s. Lower 80s return next weekend.
