Gradual warmup ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A cooler but bright Thursday is in the books across the state as we continued our dry time.

Thursday night: We will work in another cold and mainly clear night. Lows will dip into the mid to upper 20s.

Friday: Bright skies will continue as we close out our workweek. Light winds out of the north with more dry time will make for a quiet Friday. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 40s.

Weekend: A warming trend will enter the picture as we go throughout our weekend. High pressure will be in control as well, which will keep us dry and calm. Highs will go from the upper 40s on Saturday to the low 50s by Sunday.

8 Day Forecast: The warming trend will continue through the first half of our new workweek next week. This warmth will eventually lead way for the return of rain and storm chances by next Wednesday. We look to dry out after Thursday morning and bring in a cooldown to conclude the rest of the week.
