Record warmth continues

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–Temperatures climbed into the upper 70s close to 80 today. New record for Sunday and another one is possible Monday.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies tonight. It will be mild with lows falling into the middle 50s.

MONDAY: Look for lots of sunshine during the day. We may see a little cloud cover throughout the day but it’s going to be warm once again. Highs climb into the upper 70s close to 80. Record high for Monday is 76 set back in 1999. It will be a little breezy with winds picking up out of the south during the day.

MONDAY NIGHT: Clear and mild once again Monday night. Lows fall to around 60.

TUESDAY: A cold front will move through the area increasing clouds and bringing a good chance of showers to the area later in the day. Highs climb into the lower 70s.

8DAY FORECAST: Temperatures return back to normal in the 50s for the rest of the week and next weekend. It looks dry through the end of the week with a chance of showers on Sunday.
