Stormy end to the weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–Showers and thunderstorms will be possible tonight.
TONIGHT: Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue into the evening hours. Some of the thunderstorms may be on the stronger side with gusty winds, heavy rainfall and hail. A few areas may pick up a quick inch of rainfall as these thunderstorms move through.
Lows fall into the upper 60s close to 70.
SUNDAY: We’ll see mostly cloudy skies through much of the day on Sunday. There’s a chance for a few showers and thunderstorms during the first part of the day on Sunday. It will still be slightly humid but not as hot with temperatures climbing into the lower 80s.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Skies become partly cloudy with lows fall into the lower 60s.
MONDAY: A great start to the workweek! Look for lots of sunshine, low humidity and temperatures in the lower 80s. It will be pleasant and great for any outdoor activities. Enjoy Monday because the heat and humidity return by the middle of the week.
8DAY FORECAST: The high heat and humidity return for the middle part of the week as a big ridge of high pressure moves into the central part of the country. Look for highs to climb into the middle 80s on Tuesday with partly cloudy skies. Lower 90s will be possible with daily rain chances through the end of the week.
