Sunny and pleasant stretch
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–After some early morning showers we cleared out and ended with a fantastic Sunday around the state.
TONIGHT: A cold front has ushered some clear and comfortable air in pace across central Indiana. It’s going to be nice this evening with mostly clear skies and lows falling into the middle 50s.
MONDAY: High pressure takes control across the Great Lakes. This means lots of sunshine, pleasant temperatures and low humidity. Highs on Monday will be right around normal in the upper 70s.
MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, cool and comfortable. Temperatures in some spots of the state may fall into the upper 40s. Low in Indy around 51.
TUESDAY: Nice and sunny for Tuesday. Low humidity continues with highs in the upper 70s.
TROPICS: Tropical Storm Sally continues to move westward in the Gulf of Mexico. It looks like the storm may intensify to a hurricane before making landfall near New Orleans.
8DAY FORECAST: The dry stretch continues for the next several days. Much of the work week will be dry, even though we could really use the rain. There’s a chance for a few showers on Thursday. Temperatures stay in the 70s with lots of sunshine for the home opener of the Colts.
