Wet Thursday ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We got to see some peeks of sunshine through our Wednesday afternoon, helping most of the state to have a slightly warmer day.

Wednesday night:

We will see rain slowly increase in coverage going into Wednesday night. Widespread rain is likely by the overnight hours. Have the rain gear handy if you’re heading out tonight.

A Flood Watch is in effect through Thursday afternoon for most of the southern third of the state.

It will be a breezy and wet night with lows dipping into the low 40s.

Thursday:

Keep the rain gear handy as rain will be in place throughout your entire Thursday. Rain showers will become on and off towards the evening hours. The rain will be heavy at times.

Along with the rain, it will be windy as well. Highs will only top out in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Friday:

A stray shower cannot be ruled before sunrise, otherwise, enjoy a dry day under partly cloudy skies. Highs will rise into the upper 40s to low 50s.

8 Day Forecast:

Enjoy a fantastic weekend with plentiful sunshine and temperatures in the upper 40s to mid 50s. We will continue to remain in the 50s through the first portion of next week. A warm-up looks to work its way into the forecast by midweek.
