Success, indeed!

Saturday’s Star studded 8th annual Republic Airways Pulling for Wishes Plane Pull had a record number of entries. 66 teams of 10 competed to raise money for the Indiana Childen’s Wish Fund by pulling a 24 ton aircraft 15 feet.

Team “AAR Burning Phoenix,” in its premiere appearance, won the final round with a pull of 6.20 seconds defeating the defending champions, Carmel Fire Department’s time of 6.76. While the final dollars are still being tabulated, Pulling for Wishes is expected to meet this $500,000 goal. Congratulations to everyone who participated as a team and for the large crowd that spent their Saturday morning at the Republic Airways hangar for such a good cause!
