WISH-TV Community Calendar events – Week of August 8, 2016
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Did you see something on the WISH-TV Community Calendar and would like more information?
Here are the events we highlighted this week:
- Wednesday, August 10th, join WISH-TV for a fun back-to-school tweet up as we gather much needed school paper for Teacher’s Treasures. WISH-TV will be taking your live tweets during our Gr8 Paper Push. Tweet your location and we’ll pick up your donation.
- Saturday, August 13th is WISH-TV Day at the Indiana State Fair. So make plans to stop by THE WISH-TV booth under the grandstand. We’ll be there all day from 10am-6pm.
- Devour Downtown’s summer edition gets underway August 22nd. Enjoy original, discounted food and drink from some of the most popular restaurants in downtown Indianapolis.
- Saturday, August 20th, WAMMfest returns to Craig Park on the city’s south side. Wine, arts music and micro-brews will be on hand through-out the day. It’s all for charities within the community.
- Indiana comes alive with the return of the Annual Bean Blossom Blues Festival starting Thursday, August 25th at the historic Bill Monroe Music Park. Enjoy national touring bands on 2 stages as well as jam sessions, harmonica contests, music seminars and more.
