Actors Theatre of Indiana co-founder talks ‘Lombardi’ premiering tonight, upcoming events

You’ve been hearing all about it, and now it’s finally here! The Actor’s Theatre of Indiana’s production of “Lombardi” premiers tonight at the Studio Theater.

Don Ferrell, co-founder and artistic director of the Actors Theater of Indiana, and Cynthia Collins, co-founder of the Actors Theater of Indiana, joined us today to talk about “Lombardi” and the other shows that have coming up.

“Lombardi”

Wednesday, November 17 – Sunday, November 21

This Tony Nominated Broadway play follows Coach Vince Lombardi of the Green Bay Packers through a week in the 1965 NFL season as he attempts to lead his team to the championship. Although football’s Super Bowl trophy is named for him, few know the real story of Lombardi the man, his inspirations, his passions and ability to drive people to achieve what they never thought possible. Sport produces great human drama and there is no greater sports icon to bring to theatrical life than Hall of Fame coach Vince Lombardi. “Winning isn’t everything, but the will to win is everything.”
