According to the National Retail Federation survey, back-to-school shoppers plan to spend the most on clothing ($236.90). In addition to apparel, back-to-school shoppers also plan to spend:
•    $187.10 on electronics such as computers, calculators or phones
•    $138.66 on shoes
•    $122.13 on supplies such as notebooks, pencils, backpacks, and lunchboxes

Dawn Pfannenstiel is helping Indianapolis families save and make money at the big Just Between Friends children’s consignment event August 8-11th at Hamilton County Fairgrounds.  Local families sign up and sell the items their kids have outgrown. Thousands of families shop and save up to 90% on name-brand clothing. The money from the event goes back into the pockets of local families. All items are inspected and will be pulled if it has been recalled or considered dangerous.

Thursday, August 9th:  9 a.m. to 7 p.m. – FREE

Saturday, August 11th:  9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. – FREE
