She Dies Tomorrow — Amy Seimetz wrote and directed this comedy/horror/drama about a woman who’s convinced she will die the next day, and her fear starts to spread to others.

Rebuilding Paradise — Ron Howard directed this National Geographic documentary about the wildfire destruction of the California town of Paradise and the gradual shift from tragedy to hope.

Summerland — Gemma Arterton plays a reclusive British woman compelled to take in a refugee boy during World War II and finds herself developing new bonds she didn’t expect.

Cool on Streaming:

Jim Gaffigan: Pale Tourist — Hoosier-raised comedian travels the world and makes fun of it one country at a time in this new limited series from Amazon Prime.

New on Disc:

End of Sentence — Character actor extraordinaire John Hawkes plays a dad trying to reconnect with his recently incarcerated son (Logan Lerman) on a trip to Ireland to scatter his wife’s ashes.
