4th person arrested in alleged home robbery in Westfield

WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – A fourth person is in custody after an alleged robbery in September, police said.

It happened just after 3 p.m. Sept. 11 in Westfield when officers were responding to a robbery call in the first block of English Green. The victim of the robbery told authorities that three men forced him into the back of his home by gunpoint.

Officials shortly after the alleged robbery located and charged 24-year-old Dominique Dunn, 26-year-old Jordan Bright and 23-year-old Lajon Wilson Jr. in connection to the crime. On Thursday, police announced 30-year-old Zachary J. McNeil, of Westfield, also was arrested.

Dunn, Bright and Lajon were charged with burglary with a deadly weapon, armed robbery, criminal confinement, theft, pointing a firearm and auto theft, according to online court records. The three have pretrial conferences set for Tuesday in Hamilton Superior Court 3.

McNeil was charged Thursday in Hamilton Circuit Court with possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia, according to online court documents. Police said he also will face charges of of aiding, inducing or causing a burglary; aiding, inducing or causing residential entry; and aiding, inducing or causing a theft. No court hearing had been set by Thursday for McNeil, according to online court records.
