6-year-old critically injured in Hendricks County crash
HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A 6-year-old girl was critically hurt in a crash Thanksgiving morning in Hendricks County.
It happened around 8:45 a.m. in the 2000 block of S. State Road 39, according tot he Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office.
A 26-year-old Monrovia man said he was driving north when his young daughter in the passenger seat distracted him.
His Dodge pickup truck left the road and crashed into a tree.
The 6-year-old girl, who was strapped into a booster seat, was taken to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health in critical but stable condition.
The man was not hurt.
