Teaching children how to deal with emotions
Shar’ron Mason, a licensed marriage and family therapist, is passionate about equipping young people with the tools they need to succeed in life.
Her latest project is a children’s book titled “Mrs. Breelings’ Safe Space for BIG Feelings,” which focuses on teaching children how to manage their emotions in a positive and healthy way.
The book is centered around Mrs. Breelings, a caring teacher who creates a safe space for her students to express their feelings and emotions. Through engaging stories and positive Black representation, Mason’s book is designed to help children learn how to deal with their emotions and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
Mason is well-versed in the importance of emotional intelligence and mental health. By using her expertise to create engaging and relatable stories for children, she hopes to equip them with the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges.
