Arrest made in near north side murder
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One man has been arrested in connection to a near north side murder, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
IMPD says 46-year-old Thomas Teague has been taken into custody for his role in the murder of 61-year-old James Foy.
On Dec. 4, just after 4 a.m., officers were called out to a residence in the 3300 block of Boulevard Place for a welfare check.
After arriving on scene, a man, later identified as Foy, was found down in a residence. Responding emergency medical personnel pronounced Foy dead on the scene.
A follow-up investigation, led to a probable cause affidavit which then led to an arrest warrant for Teague.
Teague was arrested on Dec. 19. He faces a preliminary charge of murder.
