Fishers police officer rescues hawk from truck grill
FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – A police officer rescued a hawk from the grill of truck, Fishers police said Tuesday night.
The bird will get medical treatment and then be released, a Facebook post said.
Officer Kevin Matt made the rescue early Tuesday evening in Fishers, but a department spokesman Sgt. Tom Weger said he was not certain of the exact location.
A bird specialist also was called to the scene.
