Trailer strikes overpass in ‘mishap’ on I-65 near Crown Point

CROWN POINT, Ind. (WISH) — A trailer struck an overpass in northwest Indiana, leading to traffic being diverted off of Interstate 65.
Indiana State Police says the trailer hit the overpass near the 248 mile marker near Crown Point.
Police posted about the crash on Twitter just after midnight.
Lanes were re-opened around 1 a.m.
Troopers say the bridge is fine after inspection.
Police didn’t comment on any potential injuries.
