Semi driver taken to hospital following west side I-465 crash
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The driver of a semi was transported to the hospital following a crash on the city’s west side Wednesday morning, according to the Indiana State Police.
The crash happened just before 7 a.m. on I-465 near I-74 and two lanes in the area are currently closed.
State police says the truck may have been hauling sodium hydroxide and a hazmat team has been called to the scene.
Cleanup may take longer than three hours.
The condition of the driver was unknown.
