Much warmer this week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Enjoy the gradual warming trend this week. 

Monday night:
The cold air will stick around as temperatures fall to the low 30s overnight. Light winds from 5-15 mph will make the temperatures feel colder. When you factor in the wind chill it will feel like the 20s overnight. 

Tuesday:
Much warmer conditions are expected by Tuesday afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 50s. Enjoy a comfortable day under partly sunny skies. 

Tuesday night:
Not as cold as temperatures fall from the upper 40s to the upper 30s under partly cloudy skies.

Wednesday: 
Dry with a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day. Picture-perfect conditions are expected with afternoon high temperatures in the low 60s. Clouds will increase Wednesday night, and a few isolated showers will develop overnight into Thursday. 

Thursday: 
Showers will develop and bring spotty rain showers to the area. Widespread showers are expected by Thursday evening. Temperatures will hold steady in the 50s throughout the day.  

8 Day forecast:
The warming trend will continue as we head into the weekend. A few showers will linger into Friday. It will be sunny, warmer and dry on Saturday with high temperatures near 70 degrees. Expect high temperatures in the low 70s by Sunday afternoon.
