INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Activities are underway to support the NBA FIT Live Healthy Week in Indianapolis.

The Pacers plan to host a number of boot camps at area senior centers throughout the day Monday. Pacers mascot Boomer, Pacemates and former Pacers will lead the boot camps, which will focus on healthy eating habits and modified exercises for seniors.

On Tuesday, Pacers Cares and Fit Like Pro are partnering with Kroger to provide 250 giveaway items at the Pacers vs. Toronto game. The giveaways range from gift cards to water bottle and will encourage fans to think about fitness and health.

Finally, on Friday the Pacers will open the Pacers Legends Hoop School. Darnell “Dr. Dunk” Hillman and Hall of Famer Mel Daniels will host the free basketball skills clinic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse from 6:30-7:30 p.m. You must be one of the first 50 kids to register between the ages of 8 and 14 years old to participate.
