Strong storms move out, flooding threat lingers
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There were no reports of any serious damage in central Indiana after strong storms passed through the state Thursday night and Friday morning.
A tornado watch was issued for the western half of Indiana but that expired around 2 a.m. Friday.
Police in Martinsville had reports of some small trees down, but no major damage was reported as a result of the storms.
Flash flooding remains a concern. Many areas are fully saturated from heavy rain over the last few days. For a list of counties under a flash flood watch click here.
