Westfield’s Grand Park opens for spring season
WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — Westfield’s massive Grand Park sports complex opened its spring season Saturday.
The event included a chance for the public to check out the facilities.
Grand Park includes 26 ball diamonds, 31 multipurpose fields and more than 10 miles of paved trails.
The city says an independent study found Grand Park has spurred nearly $44 million in visitor spending since it opened last June.
The study also says the facilities have helped created 930 jobs.
More than 900,000 people visited the park in 2014.
